Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take?
Most dogs are groomed in 2 hours, but to avoid you arriving whilst your dog is still being done, we will ask you to leave him or her for longer. This is because dogs get very excited once their owner appears, making it difficult for us to finish and in some cases impossible.
How often should my dog be groomed?
This will depend on the type of coat, and can vary from every 2 weeks to 6 months. We can advise you on your dog's individual requirements.
How much will it cost?
Again, this will depend on the dog and the type of groom required. Please contact us for a detailed individual quote.
Will my dog be muzzled?
Dogs will only be muzzled if they show signs of aggression for my safety and theirs.
Can I stay while my dog is being groomed?
Sadly, no. This is not a good idea because dogs can become distracted and less co-operative if the owners are present.
Will my dog mix with other dogs?
Dogs are kept seperate in kennels or waiting cages in the grooming room for their own safety.
What can I do to get the best out of professional grooming?
To help us achieve an excellent service we ask you to keep your dogs coat in a good condition, free of matting and parasites and to arrive on time for your appointments.
